Children 12+ Can Get the COVID-19 Vaccine at Our Offices

Many area school districts start in-person classes by the end of August, so now’s a great time to schedule the first vaccine for your children at our Cincinnati Children’s Mason, Liberty and Springdale Primary Care offices.

Stay safe this fall

Our team recommends that children ages 12 and up get vaccinated against COVID-19. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently approved the Pfizer vaccine for people ages 16 and up. In May, the FDA expanded the emergency use authorization of this vaccine to include adolescents ages 12―15.
We also support the CDC’s guidance for children to wear masks in school this fall. Wearing a mask reduces the potential for transmission and helps protect younger children and others who cannot be vaccinated.

We’re here for you

Our practice recommends everyone who is eligible get vaccinated, especially with the recent surge in the Delta variant. Call our office at 513-336-6700 or email us at Mason_PrimaryCare@cchmc.org to schedule an appointment for the vaccine.
