Free Virtual Parenting Support for Patients & Families
Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is conducting a research study on a group parenting training program — Child Adult Relationship Enhancement in Pediatric Primary Care (PriCARE Plus).
This six-week program is designed to improve child behavior, improve caregiver-child relationships, and decrease stress for caregivers of children 2 to 6 years old.
An experienced psychologist will teach the curriculum, provide live coaching and feedback, and encourage skill practice activities between each one-hour virtual session. Caregivers of children 2 to 6 years old are eligible.
Participating parents will:
- Attend six training sessions (one hour long each) and review text message and videos between trainings
- Complete three phone interviews on child behavior and parenting
Cincinnati Children’s Hospital will:
- Provide free PriCARE training, provided by a licensed psychologist and expert in child behavior
- Offer referral information for therapeutic services after PriCARE, if needed
