There is a lot of anxiety surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19). That’s why we want our families to know our advice and recommendations during this time.

Be assured that we are following the daily reports from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Ohio Department of Health (ODH). At this time, we are not worried about the spread of COVID-19 in our local area. If this status changes, we will update you on and social media and through email communications.

Have travel concerns about the Coronavirus?

If a close-contact family member has traveled to China, Iran, South Korea, Hong Kong, Japan or Italy in the last 30 days and someone in the family is sick, call us to discuss next steps.

We also suggest that you don’t travel to these countries in the near future. If you plan to travel out of the country, check the CDC website for their updated travel health notices.

Follow your typical hygiene practices

In the meantime, we recommend that your family members follow standard hygiene practices to prevent the spread of any virus. These practices include:
  • Frequently wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
  • If soap and water are unavailable, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
  • Do not share drinks, utensils and lip balm
  • Get enough sleep, exercise and eat healthy
  • Wipe down surfaces of sinks, counters and toilets
